Invocation of NANTA

Ave Fraters et Sorors,

I sat down after vibrating all of the incantations, and then making my formal invitation to and Invocation of NANTA.

Saw a plain, with a dark, starry sky. The quality of the light was that of just before complete sunset-there was a thin ribbon of light wrapping the peaks of blue-purple mountains in the distance. The sky itself began as orange-purple at the mountain peaks, and darkened almost immediately to a deep black from which stars shone.  NANTA stood before me, and there was no mistaking her/it. It was huge, so large that I couldn't quite perceive it-I would focus on it and see parts of it, but it seemed the actual shapes of the Angel were beyond me. It was a huge, towering thing. It was as if I were a 2 dimensional entity trying to perceive something that was 3 dimensional. NANTA spoke to me, and it's voice was solid and very cold. I asked it what it's nature was, and it said simply "form." I was expecting it to say that I couldn't comprehend it, but it gave me none of that. NANTA said it was the very idea, concept, and spirit of Form-that it was the solidification of matter, the architect and the building at once . It governs over and shapes the form of creation, as dictated by the Ineffable One. It was immense. It showed my a black pyramid, with a glowing, dancing golden female figure inside. Spirit within matter, dancing because it needed matter to do so. Matter enlivened by the presence of the Spirit. It showed me a reaper like figure-it wasn't menacing, it just Was. Interesting. I asked if it were male or female, and of course it said "neither, and both". The cold voice definitely had a female-if not feminine at all-tone, and NANTA was neither talkative nor imperius. Not flashy either-dark. It was interesting to see that it stood as a mountain, still and immobile in my vision, whearas BITOM moved constantly inside of and through things. Things moved into NANTA, and that's where they stayed. It stood there under that sky, and it felt like the heaviness of size and time. I opened my Heart to connect with NANTA, and I felt a flood and a heavy "kick" of sorts, and NANTA invited me to invoke it's subservient Angels.

I plan on Invoking all of the Great Angels of the Tablet of Union before working with the tablets themselves-each tablet is a mix of the elements, and to work through Fire, for instance, one would have to Work with the Angels of Fire not just on the fire tablet, but in the Fiery quarter of each tablet. I'm tentatively planning to alternate between Elements with each working, so that I don't spend a year working with just one element and risking massive imbalance.

This was another solid vision-I've grown comfortable with the Enochian incantations, and my scrying skills are getting a workout like they've never seen.
I need to start thinking about incorporating more of my senses into these conversations-I think perhaps I'm missing important information by not delving into smell and texture when connecting with the Angels. Its very easy to stick with sight and sound; adding the other senses can only add more useful layers of meaning to each communication.

Bullshit Siddhis

Nsala malongo, So.....powers. They exist. You work your alchemy, and they start popping up. It isn't what you expect. It's not like the comics. Subtle things happen. You get a little something here, a big something there. Some of them appear useless at first. Some years ago, after work in the upper cinnabar field, I gained the dubiously awesome ability to see a sort of spirit double floating around people. At first I was BEYOND stoked, and thought I was well on my way toward ascension from my normal state into a vicious and powerful spiritual overlord, as was foretold. By me. When I was like, fourteen. Then, after the wonder wore off, I realized that this was absolutely useless. The double gave me no information about the person, no power to manipulate myself or the other. It was just there. So. Countless hours of heat and concentration, and the end result was this? Of course it *was* useful in the long-run, as a mark of my developing spiritual s...

Golden Dawn--WTF

Ave, I've been trying my level best to not talk about this latest eruption of foolishness, but good folks are being dragged through the mud (on both sides), and I've grown weary. This whole thing is a steaming pile of bullshit. No one is trying to "destroy" the Golden Dawn, that's just silliness. No one is trying to become the only "legitimate" Golden Dawn order either. I'm sickened by this display. Argue in a scholarly fashion! When did this sniping nonsense become the norm? A debate between honorable and wise gents (both of whom I consider Brothers in the Work) like Fraters AM and SR about the Sabbatian Qabbalah would be wonderful, if we could cut all the bullshit out. Quality conversations, ya'll.  Skip the vitriol, the name calling and the idiotic marketing methods. Yes, it is idiocy. This "McGolden Dawn" nonsense is stupid.Ya'll. GROW THE FUCK UP. For the record, The A+O's transmissions are valid, they are real. T...

Animal sacrifice and the power of Life and Death

Nsala Malongo, Death and ritual sacrifice are very large components of my magical and religious practice, and I find that very seldom are they explored with any deep understanding of why they are useful and necessary for certain rites and practices. There is definitely a repugnance for the sacrifice for animals in the frankly White-er side of Western magical and religious practice. I've heard a number of persons rail against it as cruel and entirely unnecessary, that it is uncivilized and barbaric. Obviously I think these persons aren't examining their views deeply; rarely are these individuals persons who abstain from eating animals...they just don't get their hands "dirty". I never hear them complaining about how Jewish folk practice kosher religious slaughter, or even much about the Halal practices of some Muslim folks. Read a newspaper in any city with neighborhoods that have a  decent amount of ATR practicing folks and you'd think the death of a chicken...
