Ave Fraters and Sorors, The more practiced I become in our Art, the more I've come to understand how important minding the tides and planetary hours are to succesful working. When I first practiced, I paid little heed, and was met with inconsistent results....after which, I would blame Magic itself for not working right, despite my lazy failure at following the advice of countless adepts. Ahh, youth. Magic done without consideration of the current energetic tide is like swimming upstream; sure, you may reach your goal, but you are settting yourself up for possible failure. Why not let Nature do most of the heavy lifting?
